Search articles from popular, business and health magazines, as well as research tools such as maps, pictures, and statistics.  This database is accessed through the Michigan Electronic Library (mel.org) and is available at your local library. If accessing from home, a log in may be required.

MeL Databases Databases are available through the Michigan Electronic Library.  If accessing from home, log in using your Michigan Driver's License number or Michigan ID number.

Ancestry Library Edition: This website is available through Michigan Electronic Library at no charge only from your local Michigan library. If you are interested in home access, Ancestry.com does provide a home subscription at a reasonable price for genealogy enthusiasts.
